Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ,The RAFALE - IAF Receive Fighter Jet In France ,who is on a three-day visit to France, on Tuesday 07,2019 he is the first Rafale Jet After Handover In France manufacturer Dassault Aviation in Bordeaux. India have got the formal delivery of the first of the 36 long-awaited Rafale fighter jets bought from the Dassault Aviation in France today.

The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh customized the Rafale fighter jet with tail number RB-001 and was flown by a French pilot.Union defence minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a three-day visit to France, accepted the handover at a facility of Rafale manufacturer Dassault Aviation in Bordeaux.And India Union defence minister cutting ribbon ceremony was preceded by Shastra Puja  the traditional worship of weapons during on Dussehra fastival.

Overview of Rafale Aircaft

The full name of Rafale is Dassault Rafale.The meaning of Dassault Rafale is "gust of wind" and "burst of fire".The Dassault Rafale have French twin-engine, multirole fighter,canard delta wing, aircraft designed by Dassault Aviation in France.The Rafale was made as a modern jet fighter with high level agility. The Rafale is equipped with a wide range of weapons,intended to perform air supremacy, ground support, in-depth strike, interdiction, aerial reconnaissance, nuclear deterrence missions and anti-ship strike system.

The Rafale is called as an "omnirole" aircraft by Dassault. The Dassault Rafale have combine delta wing with active close coupled canard to maximize maneuverability. The Rafale is an unstable aircraft and it uses digital fly by wire flight controls to maintain stability.

The Rafale aircraft canards have minimum landing speed to 115 knots (213 km/h), during training missions in flight, airspeeds is low as 15 knots (28 km/h) have been observed. According to simulations of Dassault, the Rafale have sufficient low speed to operate from STOBAR-configured aircraft.The Rafale has been purchased for export to countries like The Indian Air Force, the Qatar Air Force and the Egyptian Air Force.
